The average EMR implementation cost is $32,606 per physician, plus $1,177 a month in maintenance costs.1

More than half (58%) of physicians have little or no familiarity with the ARRA, while 42% have some familiarity with its provisions.2

82% of physicians say they are more likely to purchase EHR technologies if they are reimbursed for their investment, including 34% who would be much more likely to do so.2

77% say penalties for not adopting EHR technology, as prescribed in the provision for ARRA, are likely to motivate them to implement the technology.2
